HÄRTING Rechtsanwälte has been recognised in the latest edition of Capital’s “Germany’s Best Law Firms 2026” ranking in the “IT, Telecommunications and Data Protection” category.

Since 2020, the business magazine *Capital*, in collaboration with the analytics firm Statista, has been recognising law firms that are regarded within the industry as outstanding in their provision of legal advice to private clients. For the first time, law firms that primarily serve corporate clients have also been assessed.

A total of 675 law firms across 34 practice areas made it onto this year’s list of top firms. The selection is based on recommendations from lawyers who were asked whom they themselves would engage as legal counsel.

We are delighted that HÄRTING is among the recommended law firms in the field of IT, telecommunications and data protection. This recognition confirms our long-standing work at the intersection of law, technology and digitalisation.

Since the firm was founded in 1996, HÄRTING has been supporting companies with digital business models, IT projects, data protection issues and technological developments. Our team advises on matters including IT contracts, software and hardware projects, data protection compliance, IT security, platform regulation and current regulatory requirements.

Being included in the Capital ranking is therefore a special honour for us. It demonstrates that our specialisation in digital legal matters is recognised and valued beyond the firm. We would like to thank everyone who recommended HÄRTING, and we see this award as an incentive for our future work.

You can find the full overview of the practice area “IT, Telecommunications and Data Protection” on the Capital website.
