The F.A.Z. Institute and QuantiQuest have published Germany’s ‘TOP Lawyers 2027’ list for commercial lawyers. Marlene Schreiber and Dr Martin Schirmbacher of HÄRTING have been recognised in the field of IT law.
We are delighted to announce yet another accolade for our IT team: according to the latest study by the F.A.Z. Institute and QuantiQuest, Marlene Schreiber and Dr Martin Schirmbacher have been named amongst the ‘TOP Lawyers 2027’ in IT law. Both are listed in the overview of distinguished commercial lawyers published on 16 September 2026 for HÄRTING Rechtsanwälte.
Marlene Schreiber and Dr Martin Schirmbacher are partners and specialist solicitors in IT law at HÄRTING and have been advising companies for many years on legal issues relating to digitalisation, technology and data-driven business models.
Background to the award
The “TOP Lawyer 2027” study is conducted by the F.A.Z. Institute in collaboration with QuantiQuest Research & Consulting. The award for commercial lawyers is based in particular on recommendations from professional peers and the assessments of in-house lawyers. For the current survey, a further 15,500 in-house legal counsel were interviewed; in total, around 36,000 professional recommendations were included in the survey. The survey took place from April to June 2026.
