Vita
Born in Zurich, Nicole Beranek Zanon studied law at the University of Fribourg, a bilingual institution (German/French), specialising in European law. After qualifying as a solicitor, she began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Zurich, before honing her legal skills at a medium-sized commercial law firm in Zurich and Zug. Due to her preference for a ‘hands-on’ approach, Nicole Beranek Zanon moved to SWITCH as General Counsel and helped shape the Swiss internet for a decade. The take-down services she helped develop are now the international standard at ICANN. In 2012, she founded de la cruz beranek Rechtsanwälte AG, which was renamed HÄRTING Schweiz AG on 1 June 2021. Since then, she has been Managing Partner of HÄRTING’s Swiss office.
