After studying at the University of Osnabrück, the Università degli Studi di Firenze, and Stockholm University, and completing his legal traineeship in Berlin and Neuruppin, Philipp Schröder-Ringe was admitted to the bar as a lawyer in 2008. In parallel, he earned a Master’s degree in Law and IT in Stockholm in 2010. Since 2012, he has been a partner at HÄRTING Rechtsanwälte, focusing on copyright, IT, and data protection law. Since 2020, his main areas of practice have been event, data protection, and litigation law. He has also been recognized in the Best Lawyers ranking in the category of data protection law since 2020. When not volunteering for ITechLaw or supporting Berlin’s creative industries, the father of two pursues his passion for concerts, festivals, or attending football matches. When time permits, he plays football himself, goes running, or heads to the mountains for snowboarding.
