Urs Lucke was born and grew up in Berlin. He studied law at the University of Passau in Bavaria. He completed his legal clerkship in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck.

After successfully completing both state examinations, Urs Lucke worked as a lawyer at HÄRTING from December 2019 to January 2022. He then worked as a lawyer in a renowned boutique law firm in Berlin in the field of commercial and criminal tax law from February 2022 to April 2024. In addition to his work at the law firm, he supported a research project at the Free University of Berlin.

In May 2024 he returned to HÄRTING in the Litigation team. He advises clients in judicial and extrajudicial disputes with a focus on IT law.
